Thank you all for praying for my friend of more than 20 years, Laurie Benedict. I want to update you all. She is still recovering from the flu. Her doctor had her repeat a pet scan on Friday which she wasn’t supposed to have for another year. The need for that makes us nervous. And the results will be told to she, her husband, and her father tomorrow morning. Please pray that she continues to recover from the flu. Her daughter caught the flu as well so please pray for her too. Her name is Elise and she is 12. Please pray that her husband stays healthy. His name is Dave. And please pray that her parents stay healthy as they are very involved in helping Lori and David and Elise through this time. Please pray for good news from the doctor. Specifically that there has been no growth of the cancer and maybe even some shrinkage! Please pray that whatever the doctor decides is the best course of action that it is a wise decision and that Lori‘s body will be able to take whatever treatment that is. Her treatment is complicated by a weak heart. Please pray that her heart is strengthened. Lastly, please pray for peace, peace that passes all understanding in this difficult time.
