My daughter's father-in-law started hospice this week. He is now unable to swallow, so has had no food or drink for over 5 days. He is 58 years old....CJD disease. Pray for the entire family as they have to release him into God's heavenly home and wait here without him.

Praise! Thank you all for praying for Holly and Laurie this last week.
All that is left to come back in Holly’s (our daughter, 14) arm & hand is the correct sensation of things on the tip of her right thumb (you’d be surprised how much that little spot gets used) and complete sensation in her forearm. She had a couple of spots that feel “weird.” We think she’s feeling the right thing, just less of it. We are so thankful for all the progress she’s made! That was all due to improper positioning during surgery.
Her right thigh (after her PAO - hip surgery) is beginning to get some sensation again but mostly shooting pain at times. Please pray that stage passes quickly and complete sensation is restored soon.
We’ve been home since last Tuesday evening.
Please remember to pray for Laurie, my friend, this week who has two very serious doctors appointments concerning a mass on her ovary.

My daughter's father-in-law is being diagnosed with a rare One in a million fatal brain destroying disease and has probably less than 6 months to live. He is 58 years old. On Easter Sunday he left the hospital after being there three days. He walked into the hospital but was unable to walk out. He has lost use of all appendages, vision problems, etc. His name is Phil and he is a strong believer. Please pray that God is merciful and sustains this family through whatever will God has in store for them.
