Holly’s control and sensation in her right arm and hand is returning. The thumb is still lacking. That right arm and hand (and of course the thumb) are lacking a little strength. Please continue to pray for complete recovery of strength, control and sensation throughout. Thank you for all your prayers this far.
Her hip is very achy, understandably. She lacks movement and strength, even in the good (left) leg to an extent. After, your pelvis is connected. The top of her right thigh is still numb. Mobility, the simplest of things is a great challenge.
We are five days post op and still in the hospital. They are talking about discharge later today, but more likely tomorrow maybe. We are going to need A LOT of equipment and maybe home health care for a bit in the beginning. Please pray we can get that in place very quickly before or as we head home.
It looks as though my good friend, Laurie, who I’ve asked for prayer before due to breast cancer is going to need an immediate hysterectomy.

Holly, our 14 year old daughter, had an extensive hip surgery Thursday morning. The surgery was very long but went well. Please continue to pray to God for her pain control, continued good vitals, low anxiety, no need for another needle, and the patience and perseverance to learn to do what she needs to do from PT, OT, and Respiratory in order to move forward in her recovery. She has hardly moved on her own yet. She also has a rare complication. During surgery a nerve in her arm was pinched and now she has VERY little control of her right arm and hand. We’re told that it should resolve on its own within a few days to a few weeks. This means she cannot use crutches anymore to be non weight bearing on her right leg. She feels paralyzed and is understandably quite frustrated. She asked me, “Why Mom, when I am so covered in prayer, did this happen to my arm?” I don’t know what to say. Thanks!

A very very good friend of mine just called me to tell me that they found a spot on her ovary. She hasn’t talk to the doctor yet so she doesn’t know the details of that or what needs to be done but she is scared. Please pray for her. Her name is Lori. You’ve prayed for her in the past and she thinks you immensely for those prayers. She said she’s sure they are what has gotten her through so far. I asked for prayer for her about two years ago when she had breast cancer and she has been clear for a time now.
Also, our daughter Holly is having surgery on Thursday morning to fix her hip dysplasia.Thanks very much.

My sister Alice Faye and her husband Dave were diagnosed with Covid-19.
Faye is in the Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Hts., Illinois for 5 days. She is on oxygen, is receiving Remdesivir, plus a steroid intravenously and was given a transfusion of convalescent plasma to help fight the virus. Dave is unable to talk (thank God communication texting!) and his Covid symptoms are not as severe.

Please pray for my vision that is getting worse because of macula degeneration. I had to give up driving. One reason I moved into the assistant living place plus my back and leg pain is getting worse I really think this is the best place for me because they have lot of things to do plus they take you wherever you need to go. They have Bible study and church service too. They even have a doctor that comes in twice a week and a nurse on duty 24/7 if I would need them. I still can come and go as I please and have a brand new studio apartment. The best is they feed me three meals a day which is good because I don’t cook anymore. I am only about 15 minutes from Ted and his family. Ted is more comfortable with me there because it is a secure place. God has been so good to me. Thanks for the prayers.
