Hi, I wanted to update those of you who are praying for my friend Laurie how she is doing. She is still restricted to her one main floor in her tri-level (which does not have a bathroom). We’re praising God that the cancer has not spread anywhere else at this point. There is a lump in her breast and the doctors are recommending a double mastectomy followed by chemo. The trouble with that is that she won’t be allowed to use her arms for a while and right now her arms is how she’s getting around with her broken leg on the mend and sore back from having the fusion done two months ago. The are a lot of questions on how to function.
She is still struggling somewhat with catching her breath. The old chemo damaged her lungs. She has also begun to experience fainting spells of which no one knows the cause of yet.
Please pray for her, her husband Dave and daughter Elise. They all remain in a semi-quarantine due to Laurie’s fragile health.
